We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep/Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Prep/Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and service, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

 

Duties:

 

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients

 

- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality

 

- Help with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes

 

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients

 

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow

 

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

 

- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes

 

- Prepare and execute menu items with precision and consistency

 

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation

 

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

 

- Uphold food safety and sanitation practices at all times

 

- Other duties as required by management

 

Skills:

 

- Previous experience in food service or a culinary role is preferred

 

- Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and preparation

 

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and recipe execution

 

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

 

- Knowledge of menu planning and an understanding of different cooking techniques

 

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
